New maps are awesome, gameplay still sucks.

I know many will disagree with the gameplay part, but then again who’s left to agree? Over 75% of the original population is gone, gone, gone. Even the game modes people wanted are doing horrible like doubles, it’s already lost over two thirds its opening population. Now this map pack has more than 5 times less the opening peak population compared to H3s second map pack. And it’s second pack did not come out 4 months into launch, I believe it was closer to a year after launch. In fact I think that map packs playlist was closer to H4s current peak population. I just don’t understand why they continue down this road. It’s already been proven we don’t want Reach2. Halo5 will be the first Halo I rent before I buy. Just want to check if it’s Reach3 first.

Cool story, bro.

Wow, good reply from someone who doesn’t play the game.

My Gold subscription expired this month. Thanks to school and work, I can barely find any time to purchase a new one, not to mention I got a pretty good deal from a friend, and he gave me his Nintendo 3DS with the Ambassador Program, so I distract myself with those games from time to time. That, and Banjo-Kazooie. I’ll get a new subscription and those maps later.

> Your opinion. I personally love Halo 4

Awesome, some 300K peak population hours don’t. It makes for bad matchmaking when you have no one to match up with. Nothing is fair without a decent player pool to select from.

If you’re going to complain about that, perhaps you should get a good player to play with.

I mean, that’s been a “problem” (sarcasm) since Halo 2.

You played on launch day, you have played a total of 103 games in 4.5 months. If you don’t play and care to distract yourself with DS then go do that. Don’t troll a game you don’t play.

Hahaha, now, that actually gave me a smile. So your opinion is superior to mine because you’ve played this game more? How so? That’s like saying “I’ve played Halo since Halo: CE, your argument is invalid!”, it’s just an argument that makes no sense.

I’ve played the game, I enjoy it. I wish to play it again in the future, as soon as I can purchase a Gold subscription. You’re quite amusing, but I got suspended once for toying with persons like you, so this is my good-bye post. Have a nice life, kiddo.

Of course halo 5 will be of similar nature. Why would a company take steps back? Even if that would be better for gameplay as you claim it would only be economic suicide.

Try marketing a game off of “we took so many new things away from the player it’s insane!” And see how far that gets you.

if your having trouble getting an 8 player game out of 2k+ then you prolly need deoderant cuz it smells fishy

Doesn’t like game. Buys map pack anyways. You’re a bright one aren’t you? lol

You do realize all these people quit because they actually dumbed down the game by adding all these “perks” right? Halo 5 will not sell more copies than H4 if they pull this BS again. They didn’t lose 75% of their player base in the first 3 months by making a game people wanted. Just ask those people, oh you can’t they aren’t here anymore just like MLG.

Unfortunately I bought the map pass, I can afford those things like an xbox live account. Trust me if I could take it back I would at this point.

Viper is right. The most we can hope for is that Halo 5 actually gives us the options to customize the game to the way we want it.

What exactly are the game-breaking flaws that everyone keeps mentioning? I don’t come around these forums that often, so I’m not sure what everyone’s sick of.

The randomness of Personal Ordinance is my pet peeve.

Please use this thread to discuss population. Thanks.
