Disclaimer: this is a forum about a new level I created. If you don’t want to hear about my Map and gamemodes, you might want to leave.
Now that that’s out of the way let’s jump right in. I have spent the past month creating, editing, and playtesting my map. If you want to download it, go to my file share or look for maps in file browser authored by me.
My map is an asymmetrical, suspended map similar to guardian or lockout, only more compact. If you want to see my a tour of my, map you can download the video clip I have in my file share. Some highlights are the floating pillars used to block lines of sight, smooth bridges and railing, and the strategically placed cover. The map is small, but the three stories and limited movement from one story to another makes gameplay fast, but regulated.
Renegade works well with a custom slayer mode, Finite slayer, which has altered ordnance. Renegade has some timed ordnance, like halo reach and 3 did, and some random ordnance.
Gametypes include CTF, in which teams must take advantage of the multiple stories and path ways to intercept and capture flags, Oddball, which is great with the new throwing ability(players can almost throw the ball across the entire map), and KOTH.
