While I do love 343i bringing new content every month and I am very happy that Halo 5 is starting to become larger with more playlists and maps I would like 343 to begin focusing on newly themed maps. Although we have truth and regret (basically same map with variations), I would like 343 to create new covenant and forerunner themed maps. Also 343 I would like to suggest a Warzone ± Assault map and Arena map that is based on Sunaion with the same art style as the mission “battle of Sunaion” (that level was beautiful). I understand maps take a while to create so 343 you guys and girls should look into maps from the community and pool those great remakes and throw them into Arena and big team.
For Warzone, I would like to see maps kind of like invasion from Halo Reach. Maybe a Boneyard variant tuned to Warzone or Spire type remake.
I would also like 343 to put some of these community playlists not only in Arena but in Big team. Big team has kind of lost its placement, partially due to the lack of maps for that playlist in my opinion. There are plenty of Halo 1-Reach remakes by the community that look awesome and deserve to be played on outside the custom gaming world.
After watching the community livestream, the community has submitted many maps and gamemodes. I suggest 343 you add a playlist (minigames) where you feature rounds of minigames for social fun and more community recognition.
Please if you are going to post on this thread do not make it into an infection debate. This thread is more to get the community maps and playlists into online MP and get more covenant and forerunner themed maps instead of UNSC all the time.
In conclusion, I would like to say I am very proud to be a Halo fan. The community, other than the whiners, has shown what greatness they can create with forge on Halo 5. Remade maps and new maps look amazing and the playlists and minigames look very fun. Props to these creators and 343 should make designated playlists to feature these people’s work. 343 already confirmed a better file share which is great and this is needed. The involvement by the forge community and others alike have shown that Halo is truly going to rise again, maybe not as the most played console game worldwide but as the most loyal and involved community.
