Actually I got the cat ears the first day they were available and they’ve basically never come off, love 'em to death.
They got other stuff to do, still playing catch-up.
Oh you know people would be all, “Why can’t they do it themselves? Incompetent studio.”.
No it doesn’t. It shows how a back-end new mombasa street would look like in 2560. Or, did you not see the NMPD postings literally all over the place?
It’s fine. You can call it flat but like. It’s also fine. It is perhaps too purple. It could certainly use more color contrast. I saw an orange edit on twitter that was really cool. I’d like a purple sky and orange lights version, that’d rock really hard.
Nah, I could not remake and playtest The Pit and get it working for multiple game modes and have it look real nice, on top of being smoothly playable for Infinite’s sandbox, while also ripping out the fence wall as a direct gameplay decision, in a week. I could not get new and old trick jumps working in a week. I could not, indeed, make a hyper-accurate in terms of gameplay/feel remake of The Pit that challenges what The Pit actually is, in a week.
And frankly none of you could alone either. The color palette needs a contrast to the purple. Other than that they really did a superb job… and, if you think I’m some, wack 343i defender…?
Nah. I really hate the precedents that Halo 4 set for the franchise, I wanted to like Halo 5 but ultimately was only there for Forge, and well - since Halo Wars 2, 343i has been doing their best in putting their best foot forward.
I’d say they’ve done okay. Infinite does a lot right and a lot wrong. Luckily most of what it does wrong can be fixed over time… and they are doing that.
