It’s not coming until then because they’d have to drop the forge canvas maps too - and forge isn’t coming until November and isn’t ready until then, so that’s why we’re not getting it yet. Keep enthusiasm up.

It’s likely not coming in November. You didn’t listen to what the forge lead said. Forge releases November 8th but the map will be released “when it’s ready”. Which more than likely doesn’t mean day 1. It’s likely we’re not gonna see any forge maps released when forge releases…

Okay. So, there’s a good reason for that.
1: It is on a new canvas map.
2: They are playing a future version of Infinite in the end of prototyping phases.
3: They would have to launch the canvas map for us to get the pit, because it’s on that.
We aren’t getting it until then. That’s fine. They may make adjustments anyway.

Just making you aware of what the forge lead actually said. It could come in November but it’s highly unlikely given how they’ve handled everything else. Saying “ITS COMING IN NOVEMBER!!!” Is just setting people up for disappointment when it’s not what they said.

This was one big yawn-fest… world premier of one map…really? Typical 343 with too much sizzle and not enough steak… at least tease us with pictures of other throwback maps under development… or is this the only one? If so, yikes….

This would be a much bigger deal if in addition to showing Pit today, they also said that by November 4 they would be releasing remakes of Guardian, Narrows, and Construct.
And they would be putting them in a throwback playlist with no sprint, no clamber, invis and os activating on pickup, etc.

Lol agreed. Hyped this up so much just to disappoint everyone again. They made it seem like we were going to get a new map or something today. Not just a preview for a map coming in 3 months. Then on top of that it’s yet just another bland 343 remake. They do the absolute bare minimum when it comes to remaking maps. They do the general layout with blank forge assets and then release it. Can’t even bother to make the map look good.
Should have learned my lesson. I once again got excited to see what we were going to get for the Halo 3 Anniversary and once again 343 fails to deliver anything. This should have been a first look at HCS and then dropped later today not 3 months from now.

Dude, how the hell are you excited over a map coming in November, which could EASILY be remade by a forger within like 3-5 hours, I don’t understand your excitement and honestly never will, It’s only ONE map.
