Playing the Flight for the last day or so I have noticed how flawed these spawns are. I can literally see the enemy spawn nearly EVERYTIME I’m walking around. And not to mention that the map is incredibly big and yes I know it had sprint in mind from Halo Online. But the FOV Slider on Xbox remedies that a little bit. But overall the spawns are my biggest gripe. A more minor one are the power weapon options. Some of the power weapons kind of suck! Especially when it me team has a easier chance to get certain weapons then other (at least that’s what it feels like unless I’m just BAD AT THE GAME LOL) what do you guys think? Are you fine with the spawns? Are you enjoying what you’re seeing so far? Personally I’m enjoying the Fireteam Raven cosmetics a lot!

So far it all plays fairly well besides occasional.frame rate drops however Team Slayer on Waterfall has atrocious spawns that simply do not work. Half of the time you spawn near the corner area of the map where both man cannons lead. This area is annoying to contest on the whole because of the openness of the middle and the poor cover access when not at the edge.
Edge on the other hand feels way too large for 4v4 Team Slayer. It plays well but 6v6 would be more suitable in my opinion. Or 8v8 for chaotic gameplay if the devs were willing to try it.

I mean you said the power weapons seem like they kinda suck and it seems like one team has an advantage to getting them over the other. I was just saying that those are the main power weapons used in Halo 3, and they’re identical on these maps, plus the fact the maps are symmetrical makes it so both teams are equidistant away from getting them. Or at least Rockets and Sniper which spawn in the middle of both maps and have to be pushed for, the Shotguns spawn near each base on both maps so both teams have one, and then you’ve got Overshield on Edge which is directly in the middle of the map. As for player spawns, I have not noticed anything as far as bad spawns, but maybe I just haven’t played enough. I think symmetrical maps make it far easier to create a good spawn system for devs because you can just prioritize teams spawning in their own base, and Edge is gigantic for 4v4 so there should be no reason you spawn close to an opponent. Again I haven’t noticed anything but we’ll see if they adjust things. My biggest gripe is the framerate. It’s especially poor on Waterfall but I’m noticing it on Edge as well.
