I’ve suggested before that the Bomb, Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer get unique sponsored by Gronk’s sports style skins for use in Grifball. A techsuit too would be good.
How about a proper Grifball arena map ‘Gronk’s Stadium’ as if Grifball is an actual sport within the Halo universe?
Could possibly give the map gameplay mechanics like Bomb-Only man-cannons or RNG hazards(pyrotechnics? A.I.?) presented on a Jumbo-Tron as if they were voted for by spectators?
I think, not 100% but pretty sure, there was a coliseum styled map from Halo 3’s development.
Hopefully the digsite teams find it, and hopefully its added as a griffball map if its real. Would certainly make that season 8 stuff a lot cooler and more worthwhile imo.

This one - this is the best one. If Omega399’s comment is correct (which I think I’ve heard the same, and that the geometry was used throughout Halo development beyond just 3), it’d be cool if it was redone with more life with a Fronk themed aesthetic. It’d make a fine Forge template too, Longshore has great forge props and a great aesthetic, so people would make some pretty great maps with it.
Interesting to hear Bungie were possibly working on a Grifball arena map back in the day. If that’s true then even more reason to.
Glad you guys like my suggestion. Doubt they’d do this but would be cool if Jeff Steitzer gave special sports like commentary remarks over the PA system. I have so many ideas even a new Campaign but I have no mod skills lol seems so daunting but maybe I can figure it out.

Oh, no, it’s not intended to be a Grifball map, at least as far as I know. It was just a large open area for testing that would function well for Grifball. I think its arena is more circular than rectangular which is a bit untraditional. The bright side of this idea is that it could pretty efficiently be done in modding tools.
I’m just behind any glory to Fronk’s in honesty.
