Hey guys, don’t know if this is old or new but there is a new map called Complex, that has just been revealed!
I loved that map in Goldeneye!

I want to see an overview of it, I can’t tell what kind of map it is trying to be from just those screenshots. I also like that we are getting so many map reveals. Only 3 more.
Not much you can tell about the map… Would love actual gameplay

I agree though, the screenshots don’t seem to give off any good impression of the map. Seems pretty plain. A video will be a much better way of judging it’s quality. So hopefully we get that today.

I thought 3+6=10 for a sec. To my defense, it is quarter to 4 in the morning. 3 maps if we don’t count the remake.
It will probably be a BTB map, judging from the outer section and the interior, and the tire tracks in the sand.

To me it looks like a one sided objective and/or slayer map but you’re right it’s only from the screenshots.
Edit: Kinda like Zanzibar in size and gameplay is my guess

Yea I would guess BTB. However halo 4 does seem to be going for larger maps… So could easily be in slayer. Also looks like a good 1 sided objective map.
looks like it has a high grounds concept
After examining the pics a little more, I have decided I like the environment, as it’s once again a unique setting we haven’t gotten with the other 5 maps revealed already. It seems to be taking place on mountain side in the early morning as the sun just came up. Very rocky with some dirt paths and grass sprouting out here and there. Trees in the background.
The base itself and the layout is still up in the air, that’s what I was feeling “meh” about so far. So hopefully it’s got a nice setup with some unique gameplay to it. Since they are showing this off in tandem with the Flood, I am guessing it’s mainly made for that gametype in mind, which is a good thing, as long as it works for more commonly played games as well, to be versatile enough to make it worth playing.

Just took a closer look at the map. There is definitely something on the other side of the center building, and the interior even looked symmetrical.
According to Hyper Trooper over on NeoGAF, Complex is an asymmetric map consisting of a human installation built around Forerunner artifacts. It is near a cliff and the main structure is a multi-tiered base, as we see in the screenshots.
I’m trying to find the exact post where Hyper Trooper says this so give me a second.

The 3 Forge maps were confirmed to not be a part of the 10 War Games maps shipping with the disc. So 4 to go.

No. The game will have 3 forge enviroments, 9 original maps and 1 map remake. The forge map was part of the forge enviroments

-Asymmetrical with Red Base higher than Blue Base
-Near a cliff
-UNSC base built around forerunner structures
-Features a central, multi-level building with other outlying buildings
It seems like it’ll be similar to Headlong/Zanzibar in many regards.
I read these a day and a half ago by the way.
