I’m excited! So far we’ve seen three maps.
Haven:Looks good but not great
Adrift:Doesn’t look too great to me but who knows?
Longbow:This map looks very promising to me, I think it will be good
This is to be revealed along with some other things at PAX I believe. Check the weekly update for in depth and concrete info, that’s where I get this from. It’s at the very bottom. What will this map be? BTB map with mammoths? Or a regular map? Regardless I’m excited to see another map. My minds racing! What are your hopes for it? What do you think the enviroment/map type will be?

If that’s so I hope they show a map that has the mammoths incoperated!!! I’d be dissappointed if no map featured them. But who knows? There’s a giant gun on the back of them so maybe they’d be BTB Heavies only seeing how you could probaly use that gun…

True. They built them up from scratch with competitiveness in mind.

I believe so. I believe they did say they weren’t recycling any maps for Multiplayer from the Campaign.
Maybe a good objective map? That would be nice.

True, they said “built from scratch with multiplayer in mind” though that doesn’t mean that they won’t carry campaign themes with them such as enviroment. But no, none are taken from campaign. They said this in a Vidoc I believe. Pretty sure it was the first “making Halo 4” trailer/vidoc

I think they said they are revealing their new gametype aswell but I’m not too sure it’s in the last bulletin at the very bottom. I don’t remember what it all says though…

It’s in the Bulletin. I wouldn’t have even noticed if I hadn’t seen this thread.

That could be easily made in forge!!! I was actually planning on making a capture the mammoth map/gametype when I got Halo 4 to play in customs but an official gametype is not likely due to the fact there will probably only be on map that mammoths are on…
I like the look of Haven and Adrift, but I’m not too excited for Longbow.
Hopefully it is this map.
I think Haven looks the best to me so far. I’m just hoping the new map is symmetrical, everyone likes symmetrical maps!
