A lot of people online (streams and matches) are talking about why 343 is constantly using the grey dull pallet from previous games into Infinite maps. Like it should be limited to forge tbh. It’s become a major issue on the majority of their maps when you compare it to maps like H2/H3. Bashwash was a rainforest, relic was a beach, sandtrap was desert theme etc. Are the workers forced to use this grey from now on?
To be fair, even if the weapons/ranks were on point, I’m honestly not having fun on these map themes/grey. It’s like halo has an identity crisis with being cod or alien grey theme. Why not just be halo? The funny thing is I play competitively and here I am trying to get the big team battle maps looking better for casual players. Look at Waterworks on H2 for an example. Something is lost here in the work/art/soul of halo maps.
Today someone told me we will likely only see less grey on the campaign where the money is at, but free multiplayer is turning into forge like grey mess where it’s free to play.
