NEW MAP - Alpine Ash [Volcano Map] V1.1

Hi Halo Community,

I am here to share my most recent forge map with everyone! It is called Alpine Ash. The concept of the map is simple, a battle field inside a Volcano located in the calm and frosty Alps! The atmosphere is dark and utilizes the Halo 5 Forges’ Physics and Lighting engine to the max! If your tired of the generic Forge maps look no more! This map looks and feels like an original Halo map and looks gorgeous. I encourage you to give it a try, I promise it will be worth your time!

Add, Follow or Befriend my gamer tag TimeDipper and find it in the File Share. When in your Halo 5 menu press ‘X’ and select my name.

Please repost to give me feedback on the map! I would love to hear all good and bad (yes even bad) things about my map!

  • When you download the map, make sure to play it using Custom Game to get the lighting automatically generated. If using Forge, make sure to HOLD DOWN the D-PAD to generate lighting or else the whole map is just plain grey.

MAP UPDAYE - V1.1

Hi Halo Community,
I have made an updated version of Alpine Ash. This update is only visuals. From the feedback I have received I have upped the map one more notch by adding lighting effects to make the lava look more realistic! Using a filter and an adjustment to the smoke thickness, the map has a bit more color to it now and looks less grey. No worries to all those grey lovers, there is still lots of grey! Yea, I don’t think the MJORLNIR armor can withstand lava temperatures nor walk on it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks really good man, seems like it would be fun to play. Like the others said, it could use a bit more cover (otherwise it will turn into a bit of a snipe fest) but other than that it looks good. I like the dark vibe of it and the “pit of doom” in the middle.
