Hey guys! Just wanted to say, I think they should add another variant of locke’s armor to halo 5. I’m tired of scrubs and noobs to overly wear locke’s armor that they got from a pre order code. Tbh, it looks really cool, but kinda lost its value because it was so common. All the other characters got at least another variant, why can’t Locke? I think that would give the armor more credibility to being a hard earned mythic instead of just an easy code. Not trying to complain and say he is better than anyone, I just want another variant. Also, for those of you who want the actual master chief armor, put on the centurion
armor and wear the mark 6 helm and that as close as chief can get so far.

I would really hope so. I think 343 did that on purpose because I’m feelin like they might add the other variant as a legendary unlock for beating the campaign or possibly another king of the hill game sponsored by Doritos.

Exactly! As it is, there is no reward for grinding through the campaign.
Or maybe they would also add some bonus campaign dlc and then might have to grind it out on legendary. That would be cool to have extra campaign dlc, but not like Spartan ops. Was too repetitive.
That would be really cool because just like Locke in the halo night fall, he had to fight for himself against all odds to survive. Solo. That would really bring out what it means to be a hunter and a legend

I hope they don’t give loches Armor away like heroskill… I beat the legendary campaigns for nothing. It would cheapen the value, and we don’t have that many exclusive armors that are unlockable anyways

true… I mean at least I think it would be cool to have a new variant and would make it alittle cooler to have for alittle while before it wears off and gets boring again.

How about for hunter armor, you have to beat the game on solo legendary or legendary with all skulls on. Make it a challenge to unlock. No way to unlock from gold packs
I was thinking the same thing. That would be worth it to me, but then other people that have the pre order armor would just say. “oh well I don’t need to beat the campaign on legendary, I already have the armor right here!” just like helioskrill. That’s my only draw back that I see. Either way, I’m a fan so I would do it.

As long as it’s not released In a gold pack and be somewhat difficult to obtain I’d be ok with a new variant. Like the katana in halo 3. It’s like hayabusa but has a sword on your back and you age to get the 1000 original gamers core in halo 3

The intention was to always allow players to unlock Helioskril from REQ packs, this was confirmed prior to launch. It just took them a long time to actually unlock it from REQ packs.

Nah, preordering means that they are buying the game blind, having trust that the game is good. Also most people that preorder are halo fans. But a new skin would be nice. (Just not from a req pack, like get it from reaching the highest level in the game or completing it on legendary
