This video only has 500 views or so, but after watching a few hours of Arena gameplay over the past two days, this appears to be the most skilled player I’ve seen, though his opponents aren’t particularly noteworthy.
Also of note is the new light rifle sound, or at least my first time noticing it, when it’s being fired towards or around you. It sounds quite terrifying! This video really shows the audio off.

It’s amazing how much more enjoyable the game looks when you’re watching a player who has some idea of what he/she is doing. I nearly started yelling at a video yesterday when some journalist wouldn’t allow his shields to recharge for literally a minute because he decided to repeatedly sprint or thruster for no tactical reason.
I’m glad someone finally played that was decent.

To me, this map looks really awful.
Huge, open rooms that look awkwardly under-filled with things. It’s also dark and dingy, in a non-appealing way.
Skilled? Actually one of the more sloppy players I’ve seen.

Out of the new maps revealed, the Rig is definitely the one that was blessed with good looks.

Likely a Polygon video because I’ve watched quite a few of theirs, but I don’t recall precisely because I tried to banish it from my memory.

Off the top of my head, this one, which is obvious since they’re pro teams. Skip to around 2:00 or 2:30. But I’ve seen random videos out there with very good players.
Should check out Xboxygen’s videos too. Pretty skillful as well.
It seemed more like the enemy team was just bad rather than the player being particularly skilled.

Nice, thanks for the name. That’s some solid gameplay. Only problem is that now it’s actually off-putting to watch it at 30fps…60fps really spoils you lol.
I can’t really call this skilled gameplay, but at least he cleaned it up at the end… Thankfully his opponents were worse…
