Whats the best way to get connected to the network? How do I check for updates?
I have the manual it doesn’t mention anything about the above?
Are there plans for more than 6 levels? Can I change the difficulty?

Not sure what your question is? This game is an Arcade game found at various venues but more consistent spot to go is Dave and Busters. Because it is an arcade game unless they release another version or somehow can port in new levels there would not be more then the 6. When I played it didn’t appear to have a difficulty selector.

Do you own one of the arcade cabinets?
If so, you should contact Raw Thrills / Play Mechanix (I think they merged?)
They are the ones who offer the tech support for the machine.
You need to create a CoinUp account with them for the data connection and stats tracking. The account is free.
I think there is an option if you own the cabinet to tweak the damage done by enemies so that the player dies faster and has to insert more $$. It is not changeable/selectable by the player.
The developer (RT / PM) does offer some updates to the game, but mostly for bugs n such. I don’t think they plan to add levels - the story is complete as is.
The only ‘content’ changes I see happening are small things to certain encounters - if you google search for the 2 player version, you see something different than the 4 player version currently out.
The fight with the Scarab in the 2 player version has you actually shoot ‘weak points’ on the Scarab, whereas the current 4 player version just has you fly around and shoot bad guys that are standing on it.
