new leaders op

ok, i have not played for a least 6 months and found a new leader that i can not even get with my season pass. The new ailen leader has an op power that will destory every single building at the home base when all 3 are playing it. i am not sure how many poeple dropped it but they did it over and over again to my team It is sad to see that this game has become pay to win now. I will not be playing this game any longer will nor i buy any new games from halo series.

Balance issues arent pay to win issue. Not does dlc leaders ensure a games win. Better players win the games 80% of the time. Decimus, forge and others are still solid and competitive.

The new leaders are good, especially the one you’re speaking of (Pavium), but they’re not that good.

Forge, Arby, Anders, Jerome, and Serina are all stronger.

“Pay to win” seems to be a phrase people love to throw around, even though it in no way applies here.

With a 35% win percentage, I’d say you are just a bit upset. Take a break, watch videos, read up on leader bios, etc. and then come back. Fight AI to test out your own ideas before potentially fighting high tier players.

Right now, Forge beats all and he was free.

If you don’t want to support this franchise that is your choice but the new leaders aren’t the problem. YOU are the problem as You haven’t played the game in 6 months so you don’t know about the meta or how to counter them as so much has changed since you left

I agree I think everyone who says Pavium is pay to win for example is stupid as this is an rts which rewards players for good strategy’s plus every leader has a different play style so it’s not fair to call a leader op when good strategy is always rewarded like . Think this Pavium’s rain of fire is strong but it takes a long time to recharge and is his only offensive leader power while everything else is defensive plus it’s easy to move out of the way

If you mean good strategy such as Hog spam Forge, you would be wrong otherwise. The game does not benefit strategy in many games with Forge or other OP leaders.

Tell me what makes forge “op” and everything you just said is wrong good strategy is rewarded … tell me this why isn’t it rewarded then

Forge is OP mainly because of his hero unit, Forge Hog.

The Hog is one of the most versatile heroes, offering excellent damage, high mobility, high HP/SP, and a strong Y ability. What really pushes this unit over the top, is the defense buff it grants units nearby. As you may know, Warthogs are one of the strongest units in the game already; adding a defense boost to these units makes them near unkillable.

Ontop of all these, Forge has one of the best economies in the game, has two very good drops, a strong 6 o’clock, ACC Assembly, and Combat Salvage. His entire kit is just good, but it’s the Forge Hog that pushes him over the edge.

As a forge main, let me tell you that…yes, he is an amazing leader. I’m not the biggest fan of the bomb drop he has, id prefer a mac blast… sense forges bombs tend to deal low damage at first then ramp up to high damage, while a mac is almost instant. however if your enemy stays in those bombs then his army just dies. I will not try to argue that forge is amazing because well he is. I think in a 1v1 hero vs hero the only hero that would beat his hog is probably colony, but that’s just a guess.

Yaps heroes fully upgraded will easily beat him.

“…alien leader…” Almost half the leaders are aliens, so which one are you talking about? Voridus, Pavium, Colony, Arbiter? Also you won’t buy any new games from the “Halo” series itself because you think that this awesome spinoff of the original Halo games is pay to win? Really? Give it another look and you’ll look past the mere idea the game is PTW. I know some people who main Andres, Decimus, Isabel, Atriox, and even one Cutter main and they are some scary people on the battlefield. TL:DR This the game is not PTW.
