Haven’t played any FPS since 2001-2003 w/ halo & counter strike on CPU. I’m 33, but I’m twitchy/fast compared to older gamers.
Got a X Bone recently w/ MCC collection.
I’ve done the first campaign Halo 1, since I never did it and havent played halo since then. Now 33% of Halo 2.
Decided F it, bought Halo 5 & an elite controller, that way I never have to “relearn”
Any advice on going against the norm on controller set up. Right now I have paddles to TL = Y TR = B, BL = X, BR = A. I seem to be more comfortable using the bottom 2 more? Which isnt the case with most people I think?
I have both big sticks in w/ smooth. Seem to be turning down my sensitivity more i play. I have real fast twitch to the point I medicate to slow down, so I overaim more than anything and suck cuz of it.
Just general suggestions, ways to approach multiplayer as a noob is what I’m looking for.
Keep doing campaigns? Jump into arenas (BTB? specificially)?, Warzone? – those seem like my options.
With warzone, do I just sit back and stack points til Im good enough to utilize?
Im looking for fun not to be the next big thing.
