I noticed in this video that there was a spartan using the jump pack.It looks just like evade,powered by thrusters.
0:13-0:15 the first Spartan in this short gameplay uses it,we can also notice another one using the jet-pack…
EDIT:I am not referring to the spartan using the Jet-pack. The Spartan who is holding the Rocket launcher uses the Jump-pack which is different from the Jet-pack as it acts like evade.
EDIT 2:In the same video we can see Thruster/Jump Pack in action also at 1:02 (The yellow Spartan “sliding” to his right and at 1:21(Credits to WhosUrKadddy) and also at 2:18(the sparkles on the right are produced by the thrusters)

That’s Spartan Ops not Multiplayer, the one in multiplayer has been described as a thruster

This - I understand it’s only a 1.5 second clip, but it looks far too much like the Reach jetpack. This will be bad.
Hopefully it’s nerfed to be a simple double jump.

Rocket launcher spartan looks like he’s just using Sprint.
All I saw the first time I watched that clip was the jetpack. Not too pleased. I’m glad you found the jumpack but its weird we have both??? Maybe jetpack is a pick up? Remember in the red vs blue announcement of the Halo 4 date we saw what looks like a “tire” on srg’s back? Perhaps you can have the jump pack as an AA and the jetpack as a pick up. That would be ideal. Maybe it’s a Spartan Ops thing. Im trying to optimistic.
It is dumb how people think the jet pack effected so much all you had to do is pull out your DMR and just shoot them and you were done.

Hm, didn’t see it at first. Well as long as it’s the thruster/jump-pack in MP and Jetpack is Spartan Ops and Customs only, than I’m ok with that.

Look closer, he uses the thrusters on his back to “jump” Forward…

You must not have faced good jetpack users. It’s not that black and white. They know how to abuse it with their height advantage.

OK I’m about to make a thread on how that 2 secs of jetpack could be balanced, even though it looks like Reach jetpack. Cuz I don’t want people flipping out.

So out of all the crazy and amazing stuff we’ve seen in e3 and in that video, all you can do is hate on the jetpack and bring back the dispute about map control. If the jetpack ruins the game for you despite everything else then that’s just sad.
OP is right there is a thruster. When thruster is used the spark fly from your back and when you stop using thruster you “SLIDE”. Thruster can be seen
at exactly 1:02 (yellow spartan)
and 1:21
