I’m not to sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but in the Halo 4 live action trailer I noticed that there were some sort of jet-like vehicles next to the soldiers who were listening to the speech. Take a look at 00:42

Edit: I just found some concept art for what it might be. Look at the picture in the bottom left hand corner. Picture It says that its a dropship. Perhaps we could see something like this in Custom Games?
These look to me as though they are standard transportation vehicles in earth’s cities, not war vehicles.

Could be but also look at where we first see the Infinity in space, one of these ‘jets’ flies right up to the camera.
Ya, you might see them up in the sky at some point in the game, but I don’t think you’ll be able to use them.

Good point.
I doubt they’d bring jets into Halo’s multiplayer though. We might see them in the campaign a lot, and we might even be able to fly them. That’d be awesome.

It could be easily done. Perhaps with some Promethean Space craft as well?

Wow I just noticed that. However its obvious its quite obvious that the jet in the picture looks very similiar to the one in the video.

The concept art isn’t actually for Halo 4. Someone just stuck the 343 logo on concept art from Halo Wars. I’m not sure if the top-left picture is from Halo Wars. It might be fake.

That would explain the Hawk. But the similarities between the ships speak for themselves

That ship was not in Halo Wars. Thats why its a bit of a mystery.
That jet that came close in the trailer to the camera wasn’t civilian transport, as it was moving quite fast through space. I’d say that that is some form of Pelican or other war-bound transport.

The dropship is concept are for Halo Reach actually.

Didn’t the newsfeed guy in the sticky’d thread claim that one of the two new vehicles will be a new air craft, but more an airplane-like vehicle than a helicopter?
