I’m honestly confused at this moment in time, is a Storm Jackal a cousin of the main Jackals like the Skirmishers or are all Jackals looking like that. I do kind of like the look.

The Skirmishers did not mess the canon. They are a sub-species of Kig-Yar. But these Storm Jackals…it remains to be seen how they fit. Perhaps forced mutation? We’ll see.

I knew they were a sub-species but wouldn’t the storm jackals be a sub-species too then? That or its just a chance for artistic expression, kinda like how the elites look more lizardish

They COULD be but we’ll see. I mean, these Covies look different from their original design. Not that I hate the new ones. In fact, I love the new designs.

Yah I just can’t think of any other explanation for them other than sub-species. I do too like the new designs I just think the colors on their armor need to be brighter and more neon like in H:CE but… eh its cool the way it is
