I don’t get where people are getting the notion that the Ghost is nerfed, the cannons in particular. Did everyone forget how incredibly worthless the Ghost was in Reach? The cannons did crap for damage and it was made out of paper, even compared to other vehicles.
I think a lot of people are just confused because I have seen several videos of people trying to fire at an angle which blocked many shots and then complained about it being ‘nerfed.’
It seems better for splatters as armor lock is gone, it doesn’t get instantly melted by teamshots, and the cannons seem pretty darn effective when they actually hit their target.
Cool interview though. I hope we do get some actual scale this time, because I will rage if the pull another Tip of the Spear. See that enormous open battle going on over there? Lets send you to this ridiculously linear side path instead… -_-.

The question is, did he know when this interview would air? If so, he could mean this weekend.

Supposedly there is a second part to “A Hero Awakes” according to the interview in the weekly bulletin. It hinted it would be here before the next one.

I think one is a huge battle, with Scarabs and Mammoths and Scorpions and Wraiths and Warthogs and Ghosts and Falcons and Banshees. Seriously, Scarabs have been hinted at, so has shootings holes in Scarabs with giant guns on top of Mammoths.
As for the other two, who knows? Maybe one is that epic space battle that was talked about a while ago, even though, at that time, we only watched it. It is supposedly Star Wars scale though, and takes place in Spartan Ops.
he didnt seem too confident talking about the music for the campaign as he went straight for the music sequences in MM rather than campaign, i think he might knows marty’s music is better than neils.

I’m thinking of a battle involving at least one War Sphinx, and a ton of Scarabs that get torn to bloody ribbons by it.
