In the most recent “Inside Infinite” community update there are multiple work-in-progress images of the game and a few concepts. In one of the work-in-progress images the player is holding a sniper-rifle and is looking at a warthog and some forerunner structure. It seems like he has some gun holstered as well. I don’t recognize the shape of this holstered gun from any previous halo games and I don’t remember it from the demo. New weapon maybe, or just another redesign? It looks like a pistol, and I think it’s a human weapon (Normally the covenant weapons and forerunner weapons seem like they would be uncomfortable in human hands, but this one looks like it would fit fine. It is possible that it’s a brute weapon). I think it looks a little bit like the usual hand-cannon style magnum I am used to, but that is mainly because of the handguard-thing.
Anyone else have any ideas on what it might be?

Its called “disruptor”. It comes with a toy(idk which one) and we have no clue about what this weapon does.

Based off the name and the reveal of the new electricity grenade, I’d guess it’s an electric shock weapon of some sort. But this is basically just a shot in the dark.
