Can we get an update adding some more community infection maps into matchmaking? There are some REALLY good maps since the update that have been made and I’d love to play them in infection, especially since nowadays the old maps are getting kind of boring and I find myself playing with the same people every night due to people getting bored of them.
Please!!! I’m surprised this topic hasn’t gotten more likes and replies. I for one would love to see some more infection maps. Getting bored playing the same maps again and again. The game is growing stale in general but infection… Well there is only so many times I can play on the same map with the same group of people before I start wanting to pins my head into the wall.
Would also like some different game modes in infected other then just alpha zombies. Maybe one where when you infect a guy it adds time to the timer. Or where the last man standing isn’t marked. Would be fun that way but that ties into new maps as well since most people who play infection know the maps inside and out by now.
YES. Also current maps need updating to fix OP and glitch spots. It would be nice if we could have some community maps inspired by classic Halo 3 infection maps.
If I’m not mistaken, Halo 4 didn’t have this issue. They added new community maps and game modes all the time, and it really helped spice things up (especially since Flood was a tad ridiculous with the Flood Claw’s lunge range). And it’s so true that there are some AWESOME maps that have been created since the release of Infection. (But there really do need to be some fixes for a few preexisting maps. I was tossing around the idea of removing the crate from Installation 484’s underground with my friends.) It’s starting to feel like they are leaving Infection behind after plopping it in front of us a few months late.

I agree that they should add for variants to the rotation. Makes things more interesting. I’m actually working on a mode where half of the lobby starts as infected (no alphas) and are a bit quicker. The goal is to create a generally faster-paced experience that promotes map flow instead of hunkering down in one spot like typical Infection.
Yeah and people have found OP glitches and hiding spots on every map now so it always comes down to trying to glitch into a spot to kill a guy whos already there

Yeah that is so flipping annoying… especially on that map backwoods. guy gets up high on those rocks and even one who tries to get to him is either killed by falling out of the map or because he shotguns you.
Adding some new maps would wonderful! would give me and my friends more of the reason to play the game.it also be nice if they fixed all those glitch spots, nothing kills a game like spending it trying to get the same guy out of the same spot every round.

That crate is there for a reason. It’s to block the incoming infected. That’s also why that box coincidentally fits in the entrance.
They should add the contest winners for the “Hub of the Dead” challenge on ForgeHub into the game
I am certain all of the maps will be extremely well made

I understand that, it just feels like the strongest holdout on the map because of the crate.
I agree. Infection could use a little more spicing up

Actually I feel it’s pretty weak, for some reason the infected sword and thrust move it more than ghe Spartans.

Not to mention a spartan will occasionally glitch inside the crate.

Really? Never seemed to be the case for me. Maybe it was because of the pure volume of people on the other side of the crate in my case. Seriously, I’ve had rounds where I was the only survivor not in those tunnels. That problem is starting to alleviate itself, however.
They need more community maps in every playlist in general 343i has kind of been slacking when it comes to this.
