Armiger - Acolyte
Description
During the Flood-Forerunner War, a discrete meeting was held on the behest of the Master Builder, the sole secrecy of this endeavor was to plan a more tactical approach to the war. The Master Builder had known it was an impossible feat to defend and save all Forerunners from the Flood, and so, he dictated that to better grasp a combative and suitable counterattack, focused ranks were required. This ideal would escalate saying simply that some rates are more valuable than others, and these are the people to be saved, without wasting assets, time and soldiers on pointless rescue missions, which ultimately aid and bolster the Flood anyway. Of the selection, the Haruspices of the Domain, were to be protected due to their vast knowledge of the inner workings of the Domain and it’s secrets, and so a new Armiger was designed, the Acolyte. Acolyte’s are a unique variation to their tell-tale brethren, the soldiers, yet they are just as dangerous. Due to being prominently assisting Haruspis with their knowledge, the Acolyte remain quite passive being more sentries than warriors; they however if employed, do possess a centralized vindicator beam, which can burn hardlight from the center of its core, turning most structures into atomic molten. For this reason, they are highly volatile and are used only when the need for heavy support is required.
Weapon:
Centralized Vindicator Beam, requires charging and immobilization.
I’d love to see the return of giant Sentinels, like Enforcers.
