Probably not the best suggestion but here it goes.
I was thinking of ways that Warzone could be improved and thought of implementing another mini-event which occurs once one team has reached 500 points and the other team is within 100 points of that (>400)(?). This event consists of a Covenant/Promethean attack on each team’s home base which leaves the generator open to damage (The covenant EMP the base or something to that effect to get it open). It can be signalled by a siren going off and Spartan Palmer informing the teams of the invasion. At this time, all the other bases (Monument, East/West Armoury, e.t.c.) go offline and both Spartan teams get spawned in their respective bases, still with any vehicles/weapons they may have had. This could transition via a cutscene, much like the intro cinematic. Barriers will then go up on each base so that team kill stealing won’t occur. The way to end the event would be to survive against the invaders for a set number of time (5-8 minutes?).
Losing one generator would cause that generator’s team to spawn with the other team to continue the defence (albeit with harder enemies to account for the increase in concentrated player presence). At this point, there is no friendly fire from anyone. Losing both generators would count as a win for the covenant, with the team that reached 500 points first getting the win statistic. Successfully defending the generators would result in a Spartan team win and the Warzone match would then continue as normal with the team who gathered more kills receiving a 100 point boost and each team respawning at their home base with no secondary bases captured. Losing your team’s generator will cause a decrease in your total invader kills (25-50 invader kill statistic decrease) so that losing your generator on purpose to grief the other team will be discouraged. ALSO add in Scarabs and other bosses to Warzone!
Yes I understand that this will probably not be looked at let alone actually implemented but it’s good to dream, right? Haha
