When they are quitting enough to receive bans they have a little present when they get back. They receive a forced call sign that reads “DNF” until they can go a week without quitting. Someone would saying well what about DC’s? I think 343 knows the difference because I had a friend that was DCing with internet troubles and received zero bans and another friend that was quitting every 3rd game because “His teammates were bad” or someone else quit 1st and he did receive bans even though he had less DNF’s than bad connection friend.
that would be cool to see all the quitters called out like that. you are right about the server disconnecting tho, I have never been ban due to connection issues.

Or they don’t and your friends didn’t get disconnected enough to trigger a ban. My Warzone is full of DNF’s due to being booted (haven’t played in probably over a month) I have yet to receive a ban. I usually stop playing after being booted once or twice, wait awhile then try again.
