How do people think the new helmets will be acquired? Hopefully it’ll be fun!
If by fun you mean from packs then yeah

Most likely normal req packs, but I was hoping for the glorious vidmasters to appear once again and reclaim the RECON.
They said the helmets would be available by playing the game. Most assume that means unlocking them outside of req packs, because, as far as I know, buying a pack does not count as “playing the game.” I for one hope you get one by beating the campaign on legendary, especially since I already did that.

Last time we said that, they gave us Achilles that killed a chunk of the population. I still don’t have it and it’s been what, 13 months of work?
Though I agree, ACHIEVEMENT unlocks. Like, all intel gathered gets you Recon or something

I think their intention is to keep multiplayer alive, so it is most likely you will be able to unlock them via challenges/commendations.

Maybe one helmet could be unlocked by beating the campaign in legendary but not all of them.

No, not all of them, of course not all of them, that’d be too easy. I’d just like the EOD to be linked to the legendary campaign as a kind of Halo 3 Easter Egg.
We get them from packs, and I think they are only rare and higher so buy silver packs with req points.

Oh right. That’s a damn shame then. Was honestly hoping these would be unlocked through other means after what was said on the teaser. Oh well…

No, we don’t need overly complicated or downright frustrating tasks to get these helmets. Legendary Campaign for EOD, Max rank for Mark 5 Delta, y’know stuff that revolves around linear gameplay of Halo 5 and ONLY Halo 5. The vidmaster spread to ODST as well, remember that. Maybe Heroic Campaign for EVA.
