I have only played the game for like an hour now because I don’t typically play games on weekdays, I played it as soon as it came out and now it needs an update that isn’t working. Whenever I try to update it I get an error code(0x80073cf0). I have tried restarting my computer and shutting down the halo app and the store app, someone please help.
Hi mate. It might be worth a try at Clearing and Resetting the Windows Store Cache.
To do this:
- Close the Windows Store App.
- In the Start menu search box, type WSReset (Windows Store Reset), wsreset will appear in the search results.
- Right-click on WSReset and then click Run as administrator option. Click Yes button when you see the User Account Confirmation box. (If this doesn’t work, right click the wsreset icon in the search results and select open file location. From the right click WSReset and then click Run as administrator option.)
- The Store app should now automatically launch along with the Command Prompt. The Command Prompt window will automatically disappear after a couple of seconds.
Hopefully this will work.

The game can not be played without an update.
It can be played offline, very stable but yah fix is nowhere to be seen

I’m playing on consol and I need help! It’s telling me halo wars 2 needs an update but something went wrong I just finished installing it and won’t let me do anything my internet connection is perfect I played a game on halo 5 after that and it was smooth someone pls help it doesn’t do anything when I try to update it and I tried to restart my console and my internet nothing works !
