So, I think its safe to say that the community does not like the direction that Halo 4, Halo 5 and The upcoming Halo whos release date has been pushed back indefinitely (from what I’ve heard). Main reasons for me are:
- Spartan Locke should have been destroyed by Master Chief in their altercation. And I mean just B. Slapped.
- whats the deal with the time lapse from 5 to 6. Where’s Cortana and the other A.I.'s?
- There is plenty of good storyline leading up to Master Chiefs first deployment.
For instance, Halo Contact Harvest, where you see Sgt. Johnson as the front man for humanity in the first encounter with The Covenant. Sgt. Johnson and a group of half trained farm kids defend the planet while they evacuate. Thats a great start! It is “THE” start. All the heros that we love are still alive. This storyline would give the community a chance to see Sgt. Johnson interact with Cpt. Keys, Gunnery Sgt. Buck, Cpt. Cutter (UNSC Spirit of Fire), Sgt. Forge and many other loved heros. There’s not a whole lot of stories during this era of halo dating from 2524-Contact Harvest to 2552-The Fall of Reach and a little further. I would love to play as Sgt. Johnson during this time leading up to the final section of this trilogy playing along side the Chief in “Assault on the Control Room” (Halo: Combat Evolved) and leaving off with how the hell Sgt. Johnson got out the Forerunner complex in “343 Guilty Spark” and off of Installation 04 before the Chief destroys it. I would love to see this become a reality in F.P.S. form. I’m begging the community to join me in pushing this to the top of the list for the next Halo trilogy!
