This 80 the realization is real
looks pretty sweet
The scenes from the trailer mostly showes the beginning of Fall of Reach story, so Chief and the rest of the candidates are less than 20 years old, and we saw Chief face already in the FoR comic that is why I think it’s not a big problem to see his face in the beginning. And I think as the story goes forward we wont see his face since he will have his helmet, and when he put down the helmet we’ll see him from behind so as before we saw him. I hope you know what I trying to say.
Anyway I’m super excited, and hope we wiil hear the some great music under the series, for example the Blue Team song. Would be great.

So it looks like it will be a true adaptation of the novel, based on the scenes they showed. Very cool.
I can’t wait to see the Spartan-II’s story visualized. Think it will really frame the heroism, and the tragedy, of the SIIs.
Is it me or does the way Chief talks sound different to the original trilogy. I know Downes still voices him but the way he talks is… different.

I caught that as well. I can’t think of a good reason for it, since most people don’t even know what the Orion project is.

In the book she didn’t, but in Halsey’s journal she refers to it as Orion-II and doesn’t add the SPARTAN name until later IIRC.

True, I thought she got rid of the Orion II name pretty quick though so as to distance this project from the perceived failure that was the original Orion project. Not only that but Halsey’s journal came out 9 years after Halo The Fall of Reach was written so I follow what’s in the original print of the book more so than her journal.

Different audio director and writer. Marty had Downes voice John one way, this new guy has him talk a different way.
