New Halo on the 360?

I’m sure this has been asked countless times, so I’m sorry if this seems like a broken record question, but is it possible we could see Halo 5 also launch on the Xbox 360?

I know it may sound a little out there. I didn’t think they’d still be making games for the 360 until I just found out that they made Titanfall for it. If it’s truly coming out this year it may not be completely out of the realms of possibility, especially considering the total Xbox One sales.

I for one, won’t be able to play Halo 5 on release if it’s an Xbox One exclusive. I’m in college and $500 for a console + games doesn’t just pop out of thin air.

Sadly, there’s no chance of Microsoft forsaking any XBO console sales by releasing it on the 360…

I’m just waiting for a price cut. The kinect has NOT proven itself worthy of the $100 price increase in my opinion, and no games for the XBO really interest me yet anyway…

No way Halo 5 will come to 360 and Xbox One. Microsoft needs the next Halo to be a system seller for the Xbox One, and if it’s on the 360 as well then most people would see no reason to upgrade to the One.

MS won’t forsake some Xbox One sales and will probably use it as one of the console sellers again.

Please no. The 360’s potential has been met. It can’t do anything more than what it’s already done.

I know it sucks for the players that haven’t purchased an XB1 yet, but it’s definitely not going to launch on the 360. They aren’t going to put the time into building a next gen game to release it on both consoles. Microsoft also want’s to push players to the new console. Making for the 360 would be counter-productive. Titanfall and Destiny will be the last big titles that also happen to be on the 360. After this holiday season, I expect to see nearly all support for the 360 to die out. Save up some money and buy an XB1 if you want to stay in the fray.

And it is likely going to be a water-downed experience compared to the Xbox One. Same for any new potential Halo game on the Xbox 360. Halo 4 already pushed it, whatever is next would just be inferior on the 360.
