I’ve been wanting to do something in the youtube and Halo arena for quite some time but I’ve put it of for a number of reason; ie what can I do that isn’t already being done? The truth is Halo still has few content providers compared to other games so there is room and demand. I was going to launch after Fan Expo but wife took such poor video of my H4 gameplay that it was unusable. However, I can’t put it off any longer.
I’ll probably start out by putting my twist on some of the typical content (fails videos, top plays videos, analysis, opinion and breakdown videos etc). The truth is there are only a finite number of types of videos to be made with Halo but what I can do is try to do it better, differently and/or more frequently. I imagine those that are already producing content get more submissions than they can handle so this is just one more avenue for YOU to get your name out there.
To start I am going to go with the two classics. Top Plays and Fails!
At least for now I am thinking of using the following:
“Get Wrecked Wednesdays” for Top Plays
“Epic Fail Fridays” for Fails
“Soapbox Sundays” for Opinion/Breakdown videos
