Now that the masterchief collection’s getting squared away, can we please, PLEASE gen some new stuff for halo 5? At the very least, some new forge stuff and bug fixes? The LEAST we can ask for are bug fixes.
I’ll never EVER forgive the collection for wiping out my whole collection of saved files, namely custom games and maps. So ANY new halo 5 stuff would be appreciated. ALSO, I have an idea: in November, to keep interest in halo going while waiting for HALO infinite, we should have halo 5 and the master chief collection made the months games for gold, or even PERMANENTLY FREE. The games are always dirt cheap anyway, and increasing the player count is FAR more important. Any lost revenue can be made up with added publicity and req card purchases.

Probably unlikely. They’ve stated major updates are likely done for H5.

Pretty sure they have no plans to release future content but yeh the other thing they need to do is patch fix’s since H5 has been falling apart for a while.
You could of edited your first post if you needed to add to it, that way you aren’t bumping your thread.
But as far as I know, updates are done for the most part. I think forge maps are still being added, along with rotational playlists being cycled through as well. But I think that is it. Seems like all hands are on deck for infinite & there is just a small crew managing H5.
I wouldn’t mind some bug fixes though such as post game freezing or pre game lobbies not filling up when someone leaves.

They’ve explicitly stated there won’t be any more major updates for H5.

Don’t forget the focus on the MCC update. They’ve mentioned they want that to be multiple updates, not just this big one they’ve been teasing (and now, testing) for awhile.
In August 2017, Grim confirmed in a Twitter post that Halo 5 will no longer receive new updates.
Some bug fixes would be nice for it and MCC… MCC is borderline unplayable.
At best, we’re probably just gonna get new rotational playlists and maps. If they had to fix one thing, I’d rather it be the freezing issue which in turn likely causes the player dropping issue in the search lobby.
I’d love an update, but sadly it won’t happen.

And still the game is broken. The last player that never joins, the game that freeze after a game ended. They don’t even fix that

Ranking system changes, new community maps and playlists updates will continue but content updates and weapon tuning are now out of scope for Halo 5
