Everyone watch a new theory from Halo Follower http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDeDBa736xI its practically dead on about the next Halo. 343i it seems like hes close.
This is more or less the prevailing theory, but interesting nonetheless. The only thing I disagreed with was using the Flood against the Didact. Didact isn’t worth the Godzilla threshold (or in this case, the Cthulu threshold) so if anything their positions would be reversed. I do believe if it is MB the Precursors have returned and that Chief needs his help.
Ah, I dislike Halo4Follower’s videos. He sounds like he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about. He also trips over his own words many times.
Anyway, I don’t really want to bash him but that’s what I have to say about him.

Second off, we don’t need to watch it, no one knows anything about it. It’s interesting, but he’s just recycling things we already know and calling it “news”.
Which brings me to my final point; why would it be called “news” if it’s just a theory? Someone please tell me his reasoning before I go in to full on rant mode.

I love it when people get heated at Follower over silly -Yoink-, like speech or news.
Highlighted portion is only opinion and used by arrogant lore people who feel they know everything about halo, so everybody else has to as well. The bigger picture is that it is recycled info that helps less informed people on what is going on or could in halo. Don’t see why people have to be so bitchy when he says something.
He made a theory video, I don’t see the big deal. It doesn’t matter who made it first or on a forum… This video obvioiusly isn’t meant for the likes of you.

Thing is, he isn’t educated in the lore himself, and therefor spreads theories that are quite obviously false to those who are educated in the lore. Because of this, we end up with a bunch of people who are quite confused when it’s revealed that Halo 5 doesn’t take place on Reach, and the like.
Despite doing multiple videos on the Ark theory, he still hasn’t put forward the more convincing evidence. Considering the number of people who watch his videos, it would probably be best to leave the theories and such to people that have actually read the books and stay active within the lore community.
More on topic, for those interested you can read all of the evidence and the entire theory here. I think you’ll find that you’re even more convinced.

Thing is, he’s labelling a theory as news, which could fool people into thinking that 343 released story information, even if he clearly says theory multiple times throughout the video.
I never once stated that I followed the lore as deeply as others, or that I was a lore person at all. I could of read the Ark theory thread for all you know. Stop assuming right there.
It’s just that if people actually paid attention to the games, they could already get an inkling of what’s to come.
My main point is that he doesn’t need to make a theory video and call it “news”. It’s entirely misleading. If he wants to inform people on lore, then he should start a series on lore, or at least make an in-depth video discussing lore to both inform people and actually make it sound like he knows what he’s talking about. He’s not the best at making videos, and as stated in the post above me, he doesn’t put all the convincing evidence to back up his claims.
I’m pretty sure Halo 4/5 Follower has no idea what he’s talking about half the time. You can tell that he hasn’t even played half the games after listening to some of the stuff he’s said in his videos.

In the vids I watched of his (before I was banned for correcting him about something), he knew very little about the franchise he’s supposed to be “following”. In his early Halo 4 vids he constantly titled most of them with “Leaked Info”, which was nothing more than things 343 had already confirmed and officially released )sometimes 2-3 weeks BEFORE he uploaded the video).
His fan boys need to face it, the guy is a complete phony. He probably boosts his subscriber counts and video views.
I wouldn’t take what he says seriously, he doesn’t sound like he knows what he’s talking about, why would we use the Flood against the Didact? That’s stupid, stick to the universe section of waypoint for theory, it’s much more credible

That’s something he himself said was far fetched and out there. It wasn’t his theory it was someone else’s, he’s just reporting the idea. And you guys are literally shooting the messenger.

I still remember one of his videos about a “leaked” weapon concept art design. It was a fake from around Halo 3 or Reach that I had seen years earlier except someone overlayed 343i were Bungie used to be.
I posted this around a year ago in another thread and while the it is talking specifically about Halo 4 I feel the message regarding HaloFollower himself is important.
Well I don’t know if you know this but everyone here knows about Halo4Follower and NONE of us pay any attention to him.
Does he work at 343? No.
Does he have anything to do with the future of Halo? No.
Does he know anything about Halo 4? No.
Everything he posts is speculation. Just visiting his channel shows what he really is.
He’s making money off of the stupidity of people who think that just because his name is Halo4Follower he logically MUST have some kind of legit information. This is not the case.
Unless it comes from 343, it’s NOT real.
I’ve been in a Skype call with him and I know more about Halo 4 than he does.
I could make a channel called Halo4Leaker and post a load of “facts” about Halo 4. I could say that we are DEFINATELY fighting Precursors. I could say that the first thing we fight in Halo 4 is a War Sphinx and would any of it be true? No. It’s speculation and that is ALL he posts.
Do not pay attention to him and I hope people smarten up some before the actual games comes out, if people play the game the same way their common sense works then Halo is doomed.
And no, this isn’t a personal attack on you, this goes for all those morons who seem to think some greasy kid has more information than the actual company working on the damn thing.
That being said, he’s a nice guy but the fact of the matter is he’s had an audience simply from reporting common knowledge and speculation. That’s fine and all but when important information is coming from a source outside of 343 it could be misunderstood or corrupted for some kind of hidden agenda which is why folks should come here and only here if they want Halo based information.
If there’s an interview on another site somewhere, great. But this website right here is the primary source for ALL Halo information.
