I saw a thread of some one asking what the BXR medal was for in Halo 5 today and constructed a small list of the new medals and requirements and decided to put them in a new thread for any one wandering what some of the new medals are rewarded for who may not yet know.
(Not sure if there’s an official list anywhere, i have been unable to find one, so here is my findings)
Note: I do not know the exact requirements for all medals, but know the rough requirements.
Anyway, here they are
Big Game Hunter: Kill two people who are wielding power weapons in one life Hat Trick: 3 headshots in one life Hard Target: Recharge shields 10 times in one life Top Gun: Be the first player on your team to reach 10 kills Gun Punch: Perfect kill finished with melee Brawler: Not sure of its actual requirements, but seems to be shoot then melee. Perfect Kill: Kill an opponent in the minimal amount of shots with precision weapons (BR-4 shots, DMR-5 shots, LR-3 shots) Last shot: Kill with the last bullet in your clip Reversal: Kill a player who shot at you first/took off your shields (not sure of the exact requirements on this one, but it seems to be just kill the guy who took down your shields) Combat Evolved: Throw a plasma grenade at a power weapon and catch it in mid air Extinction: Kill all enemy players in a round of Breakout Clusterluck: kill two or more players with one grenade Cliffhanger: kill a player who is in mid clamber

I got gun punch yesterday, was trying to think what i did, dunno if its if you both punch at eachother at the same time both with power weapons and you kill them and survive… but yeah i got it and was trying to think what i did, all i did was punch

Theres one with a biohazard symbol that you get for 5 kills with a sword or something like that, but I can never understand what he calls it when it happens.

Ive gotten it a few times myself with different weapons in different situations so im not sure it is anything to do with power weapons

The biohazard symbol one ive not seen or heard of my self yet, ill keep an eye out for it

Ah okay, ive only ever had it once, confused me a fair bit cos i literally punched someone whilst i had the sniper and they had the lightrifle

Ive had the biohazard type one, i didnt know what it was either and i got it using th sword

Gun Punch: It is a “Perfect” but with a melee involved. Basically you shoot them the minimum required amount to melee finish them. This is why you don’t get them on automatic weapons.
Brawler: Both players melee, you get the kill.
Combat Evolved: DO NOT have to catch it. I got the medal on accident. Beginning of Eden match I hit the sniper rifle with a plasma. I moved forward and noticed the sniper had landed in front of me. Picked it up, got the medal.
I believe the Biohazard medal is awarded for ten kills with a power weapon in one life. I say that because it’s shape looks like a basic Frenzy spree medal. http://puu.sh/efSKl/8cd2269881.jpg
Just a heads up, ocmbat evolved doe sNOT require you to catch teh weapon, you will get it for picking up a powerweapon that has been removed from it’s platform by a plasma nade.
I’ve also been getting one in breakout called “vanquisher”. I’ve gotten it occasionally when I am last man standing and I kill their last couple guys, but I’m not sure exactly what the requirements are.
