What’s your opinion on the new halo 5 guardians engine, and your thoughts on what will be in the game?
You mean on the game we know almost nothing about yet?
Too early to say, in my opinion.
Its kind of hard to have an opinion on an engine we know virtually nothing about. All we know is that the next installment of Halo will be running on a new engine. If you mean how do we feel about Halo running on a new engine, than my answer would be, good.
Its a new game on a new generation of consoles, the series needed a next-gen engine for the next generation of Xbox. As long as 343i can recreate what makes “Halo”, “Halo”, than I am happy.
To address your second question on what I think will be in the game. I couldn’t begin to tell you without sounding sarcastic. None of us know.
Since we know nothing then I guess the best way to find out is E3 since I’m pretty certain they’ll show something but the thing is at the moment I haven’t a clue what there focus is.
I would absolutely love a tech demo of the new engine, like Valve did with Source ten years ago, though I know it won’t happen, especially with the time constraints at E3.
Well seeing as that we haven’t seen anything from the new engine I can’t really comment on that. I think it is a good idea that they are using a new engine, though they are probably just heavily modifying the current engine they have right now. It could be possible that they actually have a completely new engine, but who really knows?
