Objective: Build up your team to eliminate all the enemy teams remaining
The game starts off as Rumble Pit so basically it starts with everybody for their selves and there are no teams involved (yet). At this point you are called an OMEGA. If you kill an enemy player before you get killed by anyone else, you become an ALPHA and a new team is formed (red, blue, green, pink and etc…), where you are the permanent leader for the remainder of the round. On the other hand, If you get killed by an enemy player before you get to kill somebody else first, you become a BETA and you will always respawn and become the member of the team color that had previously killed you. BETA’s are like workers for the ALPHAS’s and the ALPHA’s are like the boss’s.
Example: You spawn and you get a kill on another player before you die. The red team is then formed and you are the ALPHA of that team. The player you just killed was not an ALPHA and was either a BETA you just killed and took from another team or an OMEGA who hadn’t’ been killed yet. Well now since you killed him, he joins your team ( the Red team) and he is a BETA. Your BETA manages to kill another player so now your team has 3 members (1 ALPHA, 2 BETA’s). One of your BETA’s gets killed by the blue team and now respawns as a member of the blue team and now he will try to kill all the other teams including your team. At this point, you now only have 1 BETA. You can get that BETA back if you or one of your teammates manage to kill him again.
Summary
Everyone starts off as an OMEGA
If you get killed before you kill you become a BETA (every time killed, joins the team that previously killed them)
If you kill before getting killed you become an ALPHA (and you have to lead your team and yourself to victory)
If an ALPHA loses all their BETA’s then gets killed afterwards, they lose their ALPHA status for the rest of the round and become BETA’s and can now be respawned into other teams
The round will automatically end if there is only one ALPHA left because all the other ALPHA’s were forced into BETA’s. If it gets that far, then the last Alpha would take the win
How To Win?
The team with the last Alpha standing wins. If there is no last Alpha standing by the time the time runs out, then the round goes into sudden death where every body has only 1 life left except for the Alphas who still can respawn after death. After all an Beta’s for an Alpha have been killed in sudden death, the Alpha then only has 1 life and if they are killed they’d be out of the round. (if you had a strong team before sudden death you’d probably have a better chance of winning because that means you have to do less work and your opponents have to do more to take down your team.)
If there is still no last Alpha after sudden death, the remaining teams all get one point and then a new round begins.
Tell me what you guys think about this idea for a new Gametype!
It sounds fun, but I imagine it could be very confusing. I see this as a purely casual/social gametype as trying to rank players would be a complete nightmare.
I have to say that this sounds like it would be a lot of fun! It’s obviously not the most competitive gametype, but it would be a blast to have it in, say, Action Sack.

Amazing idea by the way. One thing we should add though (I guess you already had this in mind but forgot to mention it) is that the team colors will be the color of the alpha after the stage of FFA.

No, because if you get killed you join the team that killed you. So it would be like this:
Red- 4 players
Blue- 4 players
-Red kills a blue-
Red- 5 players
Blue- 3 players
-Red easily overpowers and kills the other Blue Betas-
Red- 7 players
Blue- 1 players

My understanding is that there would be multiple teams, so even if you’re on a smaller team, you can still win by playing smart.
