I was at Barnes n Noble today and I saw the July 2012 issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. There was an article on Halo 4 in there, and these are some of the juicy details;
New multiplayer weapons: “Assault Carbine” and “DMG”
Infinity: This is actually going to be a menu option like would be Campaign or matchmaking. Also, the battles are going to be Spartan vs Spartan on the “combat deck” and it will be some sort of training simulator. Presumably, this is some sort of human vs Ai Bot feature to prepare you for matchmaking
Campaign: Apparently one of the weapons you can use in the very first part of the Campaign is the BR (so I suppose you don’t have to earn it)
Other than that they talked about a couple of multiplayer maps and gametypes, and also offered some new pictures that I have never seen before, so I recommend picking up the magazine if you do get a chance.
