Grunts and Elites look more fearful than the other Halo games in my opinion.

Ah, thankyou for this, I know it’s been posted before from other sites, but this one actually goes about laying it out in a way that isn’t awkward to navigate…
Got to say, the Grunts seem to have taken a turn toward the spectrum of Weird and Wonderful, but I guess it’s a welcome change after them being so full of Comical Fail for oh so long…
i like the elites and the dmr looks sick but the grunts are just fugly

I think it’s a justifiable evolution of their Aesthetics seeing as they are supposedly becoming less and less organised and spiralling into a state of anarchy…
…but the supposed Justification aside, I think they look more menacing and alien, for the Elites at least…as for the Grunts, well it’s interesting to say the least…
They look a lot different from before, but definitely more ‘realistic’ as far as realism goes with an alien species 
Does anyone else think that the new grunts and elites have a “locust” feel to the art design?

The change to the grunt is interesting, especially in This screenshot. I like the way they have their methane tanks being fed in through their nostrils,leaving their mouths free to talk.
i liked how everyone is very scaley and reptilian like in GOW but the grunts changed alot, they look very different, almost like a sub speices so im sturggling with that. i’ll survive but it has to make sense in the end. elites look prefect.
4 years difference between glasslands and halo 4 so i have to assume that things took a turn for the worse and alot of the elites and grunts became homeless and feral, armors gizmos look very make shift and grabagy if thats even a word… all of this just contributes to the mystery and i think that in the thursday war it’s going to go downhill for them.
kind of exterme but i think that if you want to emphasize the size of the threat that is going to come, one of the races will have to fall prey to a cataclysem, maybe wipeout the brutes of something, who knows, just make the threat real as possible.
master chief btw looks amazing, i love it, agile and fast and still looks like the guy who can snap your neck in a second. he always looked awsome but this makes the mk 5 and 6 look just clunky and not sensible and that’s probably the greatest visual victory for 343 IMO.

I believe these arent the normal covies, I think they are pirates salvaging the dawn for parts.

Good catch! That looks kind of like the Carbine… But since it’s a bottom view, it kind of looks like the NR too…
They have done good job of them like we have never seen grunt faces up till now! they actually look menacing now as before they more the cute teddy bear kept shooting their heads off
You guys realize the grunts only look weird cause their face mask is off.
