New Halo 4 Gametype... in Slayer?

Hey guys, I’ve been playing Reach lately, and played a really cool custom game called Strife. It seems to be a fair game, and really fun, and a whole new model to create more customized games without having to use Flood.
It’s in my file share. Here’s the basics:

2 teams, alpha and bravo, spawn with a. rifle and pistol.
When you kill an enemy team member, after 3 seconds he respawns exactly where he died (don’t like THAT bit as much) as YOUR team.
The object of the game is to turn everyone on your team.
Normal weapon spawns
normal etc…

I would like to see this integrated in Halo 4 somewhere. What do y’all say?

Sounds an interesting idea but if I haven’t misunderstood the idea, is the team that gets first kill not always the winner?

I mean in a 4v4 scenario as soon as one player dies, it becomes a 5v3 situation. The team of 3 has no chance. Unless you are playing players who are lesser skilled and push individually, the team of 3 will never win. Ever played a 2v2 and a team mates quits out? You have to be playing the absolute worst players if you want any chance of winning :stuck_out_tongue:

I will be sure to check it out sometime though. I’m assuming its a mod right? If so that isn’t allowed to be discussed here. I mean can you force players to switch teams outside of the Infection gametype with the capability to change them back? I’d remove it from your Fileshare if so :L

Not quite. :slight_smile: I was by myself vs. 5 others, and managed to kill one before I died, he re spawned and beat down his ‘buddy’, then managed to kill another, then I respawned and promptly was eaten by a grenade, switched back, and we united a nd crushed the other team.

It doesn’t matter if your team loses. It counts your individual kill score, like a free for all. Like Flood. Also you hear an announcement of last man standing, but the man isn’t marked and I’m not sure if he is buffed any amount.

Getting easily nade/spawntrapped is the problem of respawning in your boots.

Oh, another thing I failed to mention, It is also balanced because, like flood, you score points for kills no matter what team your on. Just like the flood (nearly) always win, but everyone has a fair chance of winning. It is scored in a free-for-all type kill count.
