I’m pretty sure we’ve all seen the new grunt look, but if you haven’t, click here.
It raises a few questions, like how on Balaho do they see over that nose pipe thing? And why don’t they have mouth pieces anymore. If grunts need to breathe methane, they would need to have both their mouths and noses covered. It’s pretty hard to only breathe through your nose or your mouth only, unless grunts don’t breathe out of their mouths, which I highly doubt, considering the original grunt masks.
I don’t think the mouth peice is necesary for the Grunts to breathe with, I mean whales don’t breathe through their mouths and they swim in the water for hours. You don’t need both orafaces to breathe. It is kinda hard to do, maybe impossible.

Not unless they have at least one oraface to breathe through, which they do.

I miss the mouth breather so badly… I’ve got EVERY Grunt figure released on my shelf, I love those little buggers. I just hope that there are multiple variants like there were on Reach. One of them HAS to have a classic style three nub gas mask…
