New grifball idea for Infinite

This version of grifball would require you to score it or get rid of the ball and give it to another team mate within 10 or 20 seconds of having the ball because otherwise the ball explodes it’s a bomb. (Kind of like hot potato) So both teams would be forced to score quickly Currently in Halo 5 after the other team scores a few goals they just sit around getting kills that’s not fun after your team is already getting destroyed because currently this leads to teammates either getting booted by betraying and/or going AFK or just simply quitting out after the other teams owning them. It’s ashame this will never get seen because other topics will probably flood this one out

I like the idea and it would be a really cool variation to existing grief. The only thing I would suggest is to lower the time before you need to get rid of the bomb to make it really fast paced.

Thats a really good idea.

So its Richochet but timed, sort of. Its interesting.

I feel like this type of gamemode would work well in an actual oddball match. Imagine having to hold a bomb for points, not knowing it will detonate.
Usually in Oddball, your team needs to guard you… But in this case, they might want to stay clear of the blast radius.

Didn’t Reach have a game mode in action sack called hot potato or something like that? oddball but after a certain amount of time being held it exploded but the timer didn’t reset when it was dropped. It just paused. The amount of times I picked it up and it immediately blew up on me was annoying but funny

I believe this was a game mode in a Reach, although it was never implemented into Grifball.

You know, you’re right. I completely forgot about that Mode in Reach.

This would be a better version 0f Grifball.
