Ah, yes, because we need even more things for 343 to bootleg from Destiny. No freeze grenades. The addition of EMP weapons has been annoying enough for the already pathetically weak vehicles in Infinite. Last thing we need is ice EMP on top of that.
Halo had slipspace type grenades in Halo 4 in 2012 before Destiny even was made.
This is an evolution of the Halo 4 grenade that fits with Infinite’s sandbox and is actually useful
I don’t remember any freeze effect anything in Halo 4, but I would gladly welcome back all of the Promethean weapons over the junk weapons we have now.
Please don’t give me Stasis flashbacks.
They will eventually add more weapons to the game. You have nothing to worry about in that aspect. They have commented multiple times praising the live service model giving them the opportunity to do stuff like this post launch. They also added weapons to Halo 5 post launch. There are other signs of new weapons coming in the future that you can see on YouTube as well.
