As we all know grenades are a part of the golden triangle of halo. Guns, Grenade, Melee. I have no idea if this would work but I think grenades need a little variety… for example I think it would be an interesting idea to turn grenades into equipment. So you could either have 2 frag,plasma,pulse grenades or you could have one piece of equipment like a radar jammer, mine, radar enhancer (you can see the enemy on radar no matter what, even if they are not moving)ect. Also with my other post on different types of grenade [SMOKE GRENADE!] The grenade box would no longer be [Grenade] It would be [Grenade/Equipment/tools]. Some of the armour ability’s should still be armour ability’s like regeneration field, bubble shield, hardlight shield, evade, thruster pack, jet-pack, active camouflage, hologram, evade, Promethean vision. Things like auto sentry should be equipment as well as flare, grav lift ect. You all should get the idea let me know what you think! and suggest your ideas for tools/grenades/equipment!
They need to bring back the fire grenade thing from Halo 3 and put it in multiplayer. And I wouldn’t mind smoke grenades as long as they have some sort of vision to see through it as a perk or something.

Please, no perks. Everyone should have equal starts and traits.
However, I do agree that the fire nade should make a return.
Get rid of the sticks in load-outs but instead replace them with spike grenades that can not stick players or vehicles but can stick on walls and hit people with needles behind cover.
And please no flame grenades in MM maybe customs and forge but they were just too OP to have in MM.

Im not really sure why. they had a DoT, meaning a foe could take you with them, they had a small area denial effect, but no splash damage at all, that doesn’t seem OP to me.

If they are on map I concede.
In Load-outs though this just can’t become a thing…it would become worse than suicide sticking…flashs back to H3 customs shivers and there was not even load-outs in that game.

How about healing grenades which the explotion radius will intiate a sheild recharge? 
Bring back equipment.
Get rid of AA’s.

As long as each grenade has a unique role, I’ll be happy.
Some suggestions I’d like to try out:
Smoke - not exactly area denial, but definitely good for making an escape or beginning an attack.
Pineapple - breaks off into many tiny explosive caltrops which don’t detonate until touched.
As for whether or not they belong in loadouts, I don’t have a dog in that fight 
A promeathean disintegration grenade that when you throw it, whatever organic AI or player it hits it disintergrates it like the effect of the scattershot, Binary Rifle and incineration cannon. These would be way better than the pulse grenades
That is probably the best grenade idea ever. It acts like the firebombs in Halo 3 but instead of fire, it disintergrates the target
Mines, maybe. Throw them, they activate when someone comes close. Maybe gives off quiet, almost unnoticeable beeps, then a series of louder ones as it’s about to go off.

X3-110 Magnet Grenade: A small metallic device with a 7 second fuse that sticks to any spartan, but as soon as you walk near the stuck victim you also become attached to him, and the next guy who gets near, and once the fuse goes off…you’re dead.
Black Box: A small black cube-shaped grenade that when placed can be remotely detonated by simply pulling the grenade trigger again.
I want my incendiary grenades back!!
I would like to see some pieces of equipment come back in the form of tactical grenades. Here are a few examples:
Bubble Shield grenade
Regen grenade
Grav Lift
I would also like to see a few new things added:
Smoke grenade (possibly coloured)
Deployable Crate
Repulsion grenade (similar effect to the grav hammer or concussion rifle)
I also think the Pulse Grenade should release an EMP burst upon detonation (first wave only, not sustained).
I want every grenade ever introduced in Halo to make its way into Halo on Xbox One. I miss those spiker and flame grenades all too much to see them never make a return. I don’t see how it would be a bad thing to simply include them in the game, yet not make them a necessary element for multiplayer gameplay. I don’t think a single Halo 3 playlist used flame grenades, yet they still existed in the sandbox.
As a side note, I want this approach used with Sprint and Armor Abilities as well, making them optional features.
