I think 343 should have the voicing for the Flood as Gravemind and bring in Energy Sword Fights. It was fun playing sword fights back in Halo 3 and maybe using the griff ball court would work well too. Also, in Flood, using Gravemind to tell you that you got a double kill would be pretty sick.
