So thinking about the limited information we have now it seems most of Halo 4 if not most of the reclaimer trilogy will take place in the shield world itself.
So far we’ve been told it’s a grand mix of an inner and outer shell which appears to be many halo and some more advanced tech as well. We also now seamless across land, sea and space.
I imagine we’ll see some artwork, map and game mechanics reflect these new ideas.
For example I was thinking some really advanced gravity stuff in multiplayer and perhaps campaign where a switch can be triggers and the gravity is reveresed entirely.
Another idea is certain places where the inner and outer shell are in close proximity. Gravity maybe effected, textures, technology types, available weapons etc could all clash as well as certain races only being in certain sections due to environmental differences.
A third idea is enemies based on what section or shell you are currently in. Think of a Halo but with more diverse environments and enemies that can only be in certain sections. i.e. Like a grunt area where it’s all methane and you have only limited time from your suit oxygen supply to get through certain sections.
