Pleas let us actually play the new game types for as long as the game is on XBOX Live. What happened to the Halo Reach game types like Generator Defense, Head Hunters, and Stock Pile?? Don’t make the game type if your just going to scrap them after release.
Thoughts??

Headhunter and Stockpile can still be found in Multi Team and Objective playlists. As for Generator Defense yeah its a shame they took it out of matchmaking. But I agree with the point of your post hopefully game type included at launch will stay.
I thought generator defense was only for the beta, I remember them saying that on one of the ViDocs
I think balancing is important and so is evolving, but yeah. Keep the game types at least in a separate playlist called “Retired” or something…

Nope they had it in FireFight post launch but it quickly went away.

You know what’s sad, I don’t even know what Generator defense is. I couldn’t agree more, if you’re not going to keep a new game type in your game, don’t put it there to start with.
I’m not sure but I think Generator defence was testing something for firefight, which might explain why the gametype was played on a firefight map.
