New Game Type Extraction

Extraction
A small description of what this game type is. This game type is cross between Halo 4 Flood Hive mind and Halo: Reach Invasion as well as some features from Firefight, King of the Hill, Dominion. I thought of this game type when holding out in Flood Hive mind with two other people, GT: yo Jesterr and GT: ArborlyKitten85.

The game requires 8 to 16 players, has various rounds, perhaps 2 or 3 but could be more, each round starts with two teams, survivors and flood. The survivors start with Assault Rifle and Pistols (race match ie. Elite Extraction, storm rifle and plasma pistol) and have a few ordinance drops scattered around the map they most hold out until the time counts down to zero, while the flood is to prevent the survivors from well surviving and infect them in the process. The survivors hold off for a certain amount of time until the timer counts down, then a waypoint and intercom from a pelican (match race ie. Elite Extraction, phantom) is heard about a Landing Zone, survivors then move to an open spot and hold out in a hill for a brief amount of time, perhaps a extra minute or so, while the pelican flies in (Actual Pelican flies in map) and gives players option to board in passenger seats thus getting extracted. A new feature for the zombies is that the Alpha Zombie are different from regular arch-types, the regular infected arch-types have the normal tentacle or claw while the Alpha Zombies have a fist which acts like a Gravity Hammer and has a smash ability. Some maps could be big enough for warthog and mongoose battles.

Their can be sub games to this were a objective like get the power core to power base defenses or something like that? The main objective of this game type is team work and survival. A few levels could be vehicular warfare with mongoose and warthog (race match ie. Spectre, prowler, revenant, chopper ghost). Some games could not even require an extraction but merely lock down the bases defenses and shutting the blast doors… there is a lot of room for manoeuvring with this game type.

Had an idea a lot like like this earlier… Hope this gives you ideas.

> Subset of infection- Reminiscent of Crysis 3’s “Hunter” gametype, the “humans” start out in a dropship, which is promptly brought down. The humans, surviving the crash, are then tasked to hold out against a small number of powerful zombies/elites/spartans, depending on the gametype setup. Here’s where it gets interesting, though- In order to call for evac and/or be rescued, the humans have to complete a set number of objectives- From simply making it to an alternate evac point or scavenging parts for a vehicle or two to evacuate themselves with, to having to scavenge radio equipment to contact command and then holding out while the escape vehicle arrives, to simply facing off with the wave for a set amount of time.
> The objective varies with the map and gametype setup- Possibly with an option for a “Random” setting. Ideas include the above, finding an intact pelican in an abandoned and run-down UNSC base, finding power cores for defense turrets or gasoline for warthogs, and/or calling in gunship support. Humans transporting supplies could be defenseless aside from their squadmates. The enemies’ and survivors’ weaponry, abilities, and species vary with gametype setup. Also, perhaps a few cinematic touches here and there? Blood spatter on visor upon nearby ally being killed, music cues, buttons to be pressed?

Good idea with the setup but I don’t think we should get powerweapons, also the name needs to be change, there’s a gametype already called extraction maybe flood horde or escape.

An interesting idea to be sure, but why give all those power weapons? Why not just go with the smile weapons?

“Holdout”? “Escape Plan”?
