Here is my contribution to this thread; hope you like the ideas!
Bounty Hunter
FFA gametype. Everybody starts the game with a score of zero and a bounty of zero. When you kill somebody your bounty increases. This continues until you die then your bounty resets. You gain extra points for killing opponents with high bounties. You also get bonus points if you achieve a high bounty. You get more points for getting a bounty of 8 than killing somebody with a bounty of 8. You bounty appears above your head when targeted, and after you reach a certain limit your bounty number and tag can be seen by everybody (including through walls).
Extermination FFA Extermination & Team Extermination on Commando484z’s file share
Team slayer/FFA gametype. Everybody starts with a set number of lives. You fight to the death. Survivors get bonus credits when the game ends.
Betting Match
Spectator/any slayer gametype. You bet credits as to which team will win the game, who will score the most kills and other factors similar to that. You will be rewarded in credits if what you bet comes true. If you loose the bet you loose the credits you bet. The more high risk your bet is the more credits you will receive if you win. You can only bet a maximum amount of credits (1000 or something) to stop boosting and other problems.
Heavy Ordinance Infection
Infection gametype. Humans are armed with rocket launchers and Spartan lasers with never ending ammo. Infection are armed with swords, infinite good invis, and a higher jump hight.

A special FFA once a month gametype. Everybody is armed with golf clubs, swords and 2 plasma grenades. The game is played on a host of close quarters maps with large sight lines (for throwing grenades). GGE is the same but with evade and is played on open arena maps. Although the name sounds dumb and so does the gametype this has to be one of the most funniest things to play with your mates in custom games. (Set to be on my file share soon along with 2 maps designed for it) Basically grifball slayer.
Team Switch [inspired/created/co-partnered by xX LONE WOLF 99 and II KaL I]
Alternative team slayer gametype or could be once a month special gametype. Everybody begins with even teams. When a member of red team is killed he joins blue team and vice versa. The winning team will gain all of the enemy team’s players
Marathon Race
Once a month special gametype. Run, jump and avoid obstacles to reach the finish! The maps could be designed by the community on forge. A new map is featured every month.
Juggernaut Zombie
An Alpha zombie infection variant. The alpha zombie is very slow but invincible and cannot be hurt. The main zombies are weak but very fast.
Tag
Infection/FFA/once a month special gametype. One player is the ‘tagger’. He has an energy sword as his primary weapon and has no secondary weapon. He is also invincible and his goal is to ‘tag’ (kill) anybody. After the tagger kills somebody he will become normal player. When the tagged player re-spawns they will be ‘it’ and will become the tagger. The winner is the player who is tagged the least. In case of a draw it is then the player who tagged the most people.
Phaser Team Slayer (needs a better name)
Team slayer gametype. Players are armed with a laser and a plasma pistol. The gametype is team slayer. This is a very simple but fun idea as it often leads to mass-ambushing and cross map lasering!
Shieldless slayer and other gametypes based around SuRroundeD By 1’s vision(/idea) which he sort of got from THFE
Gametypes without shields, 50% health and no headshots (to make things fair). Radar will be off (like in slayer pro) to provide a better experience. The gametype works in team objective, slayer, FFA and almost all other classic gametypes
Domination
A mix of territories and slayer - 8v8 (big team). The are 5 territories across a large map. The territories can be captured by either team and re-taken by the opposing team. Owning a territory for five seconds will earn your team one point. Killing an opponent will earn you three points. The first team to 300 points wins.
A.I defence An idea I modified/developed with Vespervin who deserves lots of the credit
8v8 objective gametype. Each player in the game gets a choice from 2 standard loadouts; hacker or marine. The player can make this choice after every death. The aim of the game is to reach the enemies mainframe and hack into it. ‘Hackers’ have the ability to hack into the enemies mainframe and steal their AI but while doing so are vulnerable as they cannot move or shoot). They are slightly faster than marines but are not so heavily armed (only a pistol and assault rifle) and cannot pick up weapons. They are also a different colour from the marines on their team so that they are more noticeable. After hacking a mainframe the ‘hacker’ must return to his team’s mainframe and upload the information without being killed. It is down to the marines to defend the hackers. Marines have more powerful weapons and can pick up weapons.
Dawn of the Dead
Protect the President from becoming infected! A mix of VIP and infection. As the game progresses the VIP becomes harder to defend as his guards turn into the undead!
