Frontline mode
up to 24 players defending UNSC’s strategy facility on a hill. There are multiple defense lines deployed with turrets and marines. Players will be using their advantages to defend Covenant’s attack. Covenants will start multiple waves of attack; from basic grunts to the most elite covenant soldiers and vehicles.
Players can choose which defense line to deploy after their respawn count down.
Every defense line is a large capture zone. If number of covenants are more than the number (Spartan + Marines); zone count as under occupying; players will completely loss the zone if they can’t capture the zone back in time.
After each wave of attack, players will be awarded token according to their performance(Spartan Deaths, defense lines lost, etc.); new marine support squads and weapon drops will be deployed. Players can use their token to call in UNSC vehicles.
Players will loss the game if they loss the final defense line. If players successfully defended all the covenant’s attack; a final counterattack will start; players will have the support from UNSC charging canon(attacking targets automatically), and even more vehicles, marines. The game victory after the final counterattack is completed.
Players can choose their gadgets during the each prepare phase after each successful defense. There are also weapon racks deployed at each defense lines; in case they’re out of ammo(but the total amount of weapons and ammo at each defense line are limited during each defense phase).
I really like Halo series, but I also found that the game isn’t really fun with current game modes, so I just put my thoughts here.
