New Game Mode for Halo Infinite

Hello yo every one, good day, I hope I can take into account, I am a big fan of the Halo saga and I look forward to the next title grab, good I will be brief, in my spare time playing Reach I came up with a game mode that could truthfully be something new for the franchise and even divertido, well the thing is like this, I imagine big team of 12v12 or the classic 8v8, where in the center of the map would be a mythical weapon, not something like what was seen in Halo 5, imagine the scarab weapon, the locator of targets, or some weapons extremely powerful and broken, clear that they are regularized, the game is slayer, where to add points, only count with the deaths with the mythical weapon counted, would be great see something like this mode of game, it would be something cool and I think that well received, obviously you can take many more concepts of weapons for the game mode but I think the idea is fine for the saga of Halo, I hope you can read me and understand the game mode and that someday I can see it in some Halo game.

It sounds like it could be an amusing Action Sack gametype but the one thing I think Bungie and 343 always have to consider when they’re making their gametypes is how it will affect players’ K/Ds. Because this theoretical gametype relies on kill count using a hyper OP weapon, it would probably destroy K/Ds just like playing as the Infected in an Infection game (which leads to some people not playing unless they’re a Survivor). Obviously just like Infection it can still work and some people will play, but I wonder how to balance the OP weapon-user gaining points and players being able to make-up on kills could be balanced.

according to you, but obviously you have to adjust the game mode to be more fair, for example the player with the OP weapon, can not shoot every time, I think in a time interval between 30 seconds to minute and a half depending of the weapon, another would be that the one who has the weapon will lose his secondary weapon and he will not be able to obtain any other, he will only depend on the mythical weapon, he will be with a mark so that the rival team knows where to go to look for the weapon and the allied team knows who defend, I think the gameplay could work but of course I’m not an expert, so that this well balanced would have the community to comment on this.

Just test it out in Halo 4. I’m unsure if it would work properly in Halo 5 due to the lack of an official king of the Hill gametype, but I know Halo 4 does and I’m pretty sure there’s an option for “kills within hill” can add points.

Basically set hill points to 0, set kills within hill points to 1, and give 1 weapon a small enough “boundary” and assign it as a hill label. Voila. A moving hill tied to a weapon. It’s not perfect, but the gist of it gets the point across. Sure you could do something similar to this in Halo 5 as well, but Ill look at it later on and see how well it could play. Can even set certain traits to someone within the boundary as well.

I did not know that you could do that, but at least my idea is so that 343i can include weapons that are dear to the game as usable and even others, since I think that while the company was making weapons variants for Halo 5 some weapons were discarded by be very broken, in addition the next game will be released on PC and the community could moderate weapons and could even put them into the official game, so it happened with some game modes of Halo 4 and 5
